A move by the NDP Administration to Limit What is Published in the PRESS

In a display of consistency, which has become characteristic of my politics in the defense of Civil Liberties, I told the House of Assembly while debating the controversial Bill -"Computer Abuse and Cyber Crime"- during the 5th Sitting of The 3rd Session of the 2nd House of Assembly on Thursday March 13th 2014 that the Bill was in contravention of the Virgin Island Constitution Order 2007. Specifically Chapter 2 FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF THE INDIVIDUAL, particularly Section 23 Protection of Freedom of Expression.  This cry was also made during the debate of another controversal Bill, -Authorization of Surveilance Devices Act 2013"- which the NDP Administration passed into law late last year.
